Tile Cleaning Near You

Our mission is to restore your pool tile to a like-new appearance. With Pinnacle’s pool tile cleaning service, we begin by turning off your filter system (and auto-fill valve). To properly identify calcium buildup requiring removal, we lower your pool water level approximately 6″ below the tile’s bottom edge. We utilize an extremely fine bead material, similar to powder, which protects your tile while being heavy enough to sink to the pool floor.

Following the cleaning process, we collect the bead into a canvas bag for recycling by vacuuming, which eliminates 99% of the material from your pool bottom. Occasionally, your pool water may appear cloudy after cleaning, particularly when working with rock surfaces. This cloudiness typically clears within a few days of normal system operation. We suggest cleaning your cartridge filter (the primary filter) after approximately one week.

To complete the service, we apply a specialized polish to your freshly cleaned pool tile. This polish creates a distinctive “wet look” that makes your tile gleam like new. Please note that we cannot permanently prevent calcium from returning. The reappearance timeframe depends on your water hardness, typically ranging from 3-5 years. Once we’ve completed our work, you’ll need to refill your pool. When water levels return to normal, you can reactivate your system and reset timers for the pool sweep if necessary.

Importance of Tile Cleaning

Pool tile differs from bathroom tile in that it is formulated to be frost-free, or manufactured to prevent water absorption. It’s made to be very durable, but over time, it can still chip and require repair. Broken pool tiles are extremely common and are relatively quick to fix. Once we replace the damaged tiles, it takes around two days for the grout to set up and dry.
